Bored out of my mind. I come here to fangirl about random, pointless pieces of pop culture. You'll learn to love it. I am usually listening to 80's pop when I post.

Madonna - I’m Addicted
I have a feeling Madonna’s newest album MDNA will take some time to grow on me. I wasn’t terribly crazy about her last album, Hard Candy, but over time and once I saw her perform the songs live on her last tour, I grew to love the album. MDNA seems to be mining the same territory with an emphasis on creating the next dancefloor anthem. So far this song is my favorite.

Madonna - Open Your Heart (Live from Italy, 1988)
Favorite Madonna song … forever and always. I’ve been to every Madonna tour in the past decade and she has never sang this song and I doubt she ever will, but at least I have this.

Madonna - Can’t Stop
Remember that small window of time during the 80’s when people thought casting Madonna as the lead in a romantic comedy was a good idea. Oh, the 80’s, how I miss you. The best thing about the movie Who’s That Girl? is it’s soundtrack. I don’t think there is anyone who feels different about this. While most know the two big hits off the soundtrack, “Who’s That Girl?” and “Causing a Commotion”, over the years, I’ve developed a fondness for the unreleased Madonna track. “Can’t Stop” isn’t a song that will set the world on fire nor is it a very good song in the Madonna catalog, but there is something undeniable infectious about it and kind of pop-love-song sweet that reminds me a lot of the fun, sweet love songs Madonna used to to (Cherish, Open Your Heart, etc). “Just can’t help myself.. I’ve got to have you and no one else!”

Live out your fantasy here with me
Just let the music set you free
Touch my body, and move in time
Now I know you’re mine

Madonna - Shoo-Bee-Doo
This is my favorite Madonna song never released as a single (I think it wasn’t). It is such a cute 80s pop song with just a hint of a throw back to something from the 60s. The last minute makes me want to do a dance.
