Laura Sanchez. Shut up with your perfection.

Laura Sanchez on the set of her new show “La Fuga”. She looks entirely too happy being a prisoner.

50 Girlcrushes of 2011: Laura Sanchez
Now that it has been a couple of years and I can completely let go of the bitterness surrounding how Silvia and Pepa ended on Los Hombres de Paco (I just pretend the last episode took place in an alternate universe I have no intention acknowledging exists), I can fully appreciate the couple for how wonderful it really was. While here in America, we have to put up with the cop and forensic scientist who are clearly in love but will never get it on *cough* Rizzoli & Isles *cough*, in Spain, we got a fully developed relationship with lots of hot sex … in the lab, against cars, in love shacks… and it was glorious. Revisiting the show after all this time, I can now fully appreciate how great Laura Sanchez was as Pepa. I think the first go around, I was too in love with Marian Aguilera to see straight, so to speak. And while I still am completely in love with Marian, this list I thought I’d salute Laura for playing Pepa, the detective with lots of gay swagger. Laura Sanchez is set to start in a new Spanish show, a sci-fi show set in the future… all I know is that she will be again playing with guns. Count me in. Currently, Laura writes a style blog for Glamour Espana where she gives helpful tips about looking as good as she does. Of course, most of us are at a disadvantage since we don’t have her face, but never mind that since she posts lots of pretty pictures of herself. That is what is really important.
