JetGirl: Neighborhood Fangirl Dealer
Bored out of my mind. I come here to fangirl about random, pointless pieces of pop culture. You'll learn to love it. I am usually listening to 80's pop when I post.

Nicole: Should we think about a weekend away soon? Maybe a nice hotel somewhere.
Lana: Yeah, let’s do that.
Nicole: I miss you already.

I want a couple of episodes of Lana nursing Nicole back to health. From her previous storylines, we know that Lana is a constant worrier about people she carries about. It could be really cute. And … Nicole… did you just suggest going away for some sex time with your almost girlfriend when you have a broken leg? That’s some swagger right there.

Nicole: This has nothing to do with me and Maia getting back together. I meant what I said… it’s all over-over.
Lana: I know.
Nicole: So if you’re worried or just a smidge jealous, don’t be.
Lana: I’m not.
Nicole: Okay.
Lana: Call me when you get back.

Oh, look at these two, dancing around their wanting to be together by doing what TV gay ships do best.. hold hands… tenderly. There is so much meaning in those hand squeezes. I love the way Nicole looks at Lana. Dear lord, she is so in love.

This being a soap, I just knew “call me when you get back” was code for “something terrible is going to happen to Nicole so she WILL NOT be calling you back!” Lana, why did you have to jinx it! Was it a hospital crisis? Was it a car crash? Nope… Nicole was in a helicopter that crashed (yes, read that sentence again because it is correct). Shortland Street is celebrating twenty years on the air so they are basically pulling out all the stops. Nicole is injured which sets up an awkwardly hilarious soap scene where her ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend and almost current girlfriend are all by her bedside when she wakes up. Nicole and Lana hug it out. SOAPS!

Degrassi … you always bring me back.

Lexy: You’ve been fantastic and last night was great. Totally took my mind off of it. It was … great.

Oh god, I am so conflicted. Lexy and Sam are great, but Sam is so broken at the moment, I don’t see that happening anytime soon. And then Lexy and Tess have these adorable moments where I can see them having a wonderful, fun relationship, full of awkward, adorable moments. They could be good for each other.

Remember last season of the show when I couldn’t care a bit about Frankie/Cat/Sam… well, this is the opposite of that. All the feelings. All the conflicted feelings! Just don’t break Tess’ heart, Lexy!

Nicole: I know this might be pushing things but do you want to have a coffee after work…. and that’s not lesbian code for anything … I just mean a friendly drink.

Ohhh, Lana if you are trying not to be charmed by Nicole you are doing a terrible job at it.

Your faces… I can’t.

[After reading a list of traits they find attractive in a woman…]
Lexy: Where do you even start to find someone like that?
Tess: I can’t stand Coldplay.
Lexy: No.. me neither.

Have you fallen for your roomie?
